Piles (Hemorrhoids), Fissure , An Anal Fistula

While working in Ayurveda, we have developed very useful remedies for piles (hemorrhoids), Fissure and an anal fistula.

Let’s first of all we see What’s are the difference in these three.

Piles (Hemorrhoids) , Fissure, Fistula are Lifestyle diseases or disorders.

Most commonly seen diseases or disorders at an anal area are Piles(Hemorrhoids), Fissure, Fistula.

In common man language all three are collectively called piles, but there is difference in all three by symptoms, by signs and by treatment also.

Piles (Hemorrhoids)

Piles are collections of tissue and vein that become inflamed and swollen and may bleed. The size of piles can vary, and they are found inside or outside the anus. Piles occur due to chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, lifting heavy weights, pregnancy, or straining when passing a stool.

Symptoms of piles

Usually self-diagnosable
Discomfort is a common symptom, especially during bowel movements or when sitting. Other symptoms include itching and bleeding.

People may experience:
Pain in the an anus
Pain can occur while sitting
Anal: discomfort, itchiness, swelling, or bleeding and constipation also

Fissure

A small tear in the lining of the anus.
An Anal fissure may occur when passing hard or large stools.

Signs and symptoms of an anal fissure

An anal fissure can cause pain, sometimes severe and bleeding during bowel movements.
Pain after bowel movements that can last up to several hours.
Bright red blood on the stool or toilet paper after a bowel movement.
A visible crack in the skin around the anus.

An Anal Fistula

An anal fistula is an infected tunnel between the skin and the anus, the muscular opening at the end of the digestive tract. Most anal fistulas are the result of an infection in an anal gland that spreads to the skin.

Symptoms of An anal Fistula

Pain, swelling and discharge of blood or pus from the anus.
Pain in the rectum
Anal discharge (pus/faecal matter) or bleeding.
Also common: perianal swelling

Treatment

●These all are Digestive system diseases. So first of all we have to do work on Digestive system.

●Treatment includes lifestyle modification, change the dietary habits and our herbal remedies.

●First of all we suggest the diet plan for patient with maintain the liquid proportion in body.

●Then we start our herbal remedies to them, we also suggest Panchakarma therapies if required.

Panchakarma plays very key roll in such patients.

●In extreme case of piles and an anal fistula we suggest Ayurvedic Ksharsutra Procedure but in case of fissure there is never necessary to do any procedure other than herbal remedies and dietary changes.
